This smart two-owner phase 3 GTV comes with the most desirable powerplant and at the time of launch was Alfa’s fastest car in teh catalogue thanks to the 3.2 V6 which developed 237bhp - enough for a top speed of 158mph and the dash to 60mph in 6 seconds. Finished in dark blue, this GTV 3.2 has been in our vendor’s hands since August 2009 and has been somewhat of a love affair, seeing time and money lavished upon the car. The maintenance folder includes a ream of invoices for parts and maintenance back to 2006 at both main dealers and Alfa specialists. They include a timing belt, water pump and plug service in April 2017 at 85,702 miles costing some £1,000, new discs, pads and tyres in May 2017, a new clutch in June 2013, new rear shocks in November ’19 along with upgrade Powerflex bushes for the rear suspension in October 2014 at 73,616 miles. The service book shows some 12 stamps, the most recent by Autolusso Alfa specialists of Herts in November 2018 at 91,905 miles. The car has a current MOT valid until December 2020 with one minor advisory recorded plus a further 11 old MOTs confirm the car’s mileage of 94,255. Our vendor has kindly included some useful notes and tips on GTV ownership drawn on his 11 years of ownership, they have their quirks for sure! Luckily this one comes with its all important red Master key too! These Pininfarina styled GTV’s are great to drive and all come with a glorious V6 soundtrack to boot - we agree with what Jeremy Clarkson famously said – "You can’t be a proper petrol head until you’ve owned an Alfa Romeo".
