1968 Land Rover Series IIA

Owned for the last eight years; everything that needs to be done has been done with the exception of a new tilt...

Being offered here is a very useable Landy. From a local private home and a member of the Series II Club, YMO 956F has been used regularly in the fields and on the road, for the last eight years. Improved and cared for too by the look of the large number of invoices on file for miscellaneous little jobs along the way.
We understand that the previous two owners, both from Oxfordshire, most likely kept it garaged. Unfortunately, it is not known the whereabouts of the car between the date of manufacture in 1968 until 2003, although the keen eyes out there will have noticed a few details suggesting it is most likely ex-military. The Series II Club have kindly provided a letter confirming its date, which went towards having a new logbook assigned in 2003.
Still plenty of life left in this Land Rover and although it does not legally need it, an MOT was issued with no advisories which is valid until June 2021. There are many invoices on file, most recently for 2014, when front wings and sill covers were removed to replace front outriggers and new inner wing covers. We have been informed that the square Smiths heater is a rare addition but its unlikely anyone would complain while in a Land Rover.
