2003 Subaru Impreza WRX

Tidy three-owner WRX saloon in classic colour scheme with just 74,000 miles and AWD 2.0 turbocharged boxer producing 221bhp

Supplied new in June 2003 by Ashburton Motor Works of Ashburton, Devon to its lucky first owner the car still looks killer today finished in popular Mica Blue with anthracite leather interior and of course, the 17inch 5-spoke alloy wheels finished in gold shod with expensive Nokian winter tyres along with optional blue mudflaps. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0 horizontally opposed boxer engine with intercooler developing 221bhp giving a 0-62mph time of just 5.9 seconds and top speed of 144mph delivered through confidence inspiring all-wheel drive.

This fine three owner example has covered just 73,761 miles, and presents very well. This model appears to be in well-optioned 'SL-spec' featuring heated leather seats, air conditioning, optional glass sunroof, electric windows and electric mirrors.

The history file includes the V5C, service book showing 8 stamps, the first 4 by the supplying Subaru main dealer, Ashburtons and the following 4 by ABP Motorsport of Crewe, the last in May 2011 at 41,772 miles. In the file we also find the original purchase invoice for £21,245 and a host of invoices for routine maintenance dating back to 2004 including a pair of KYB rear shock absorbers, service and laser wheel alignment in June 2015 at 56,866 miles at a cost of £521 by Scoobyworld of Leicester.  A service history print-out in the file shows another more recent service and MOT by ATS Euromaster at 59,976 miles in June 2017 and also fitment of a Milltek cat back exhaust system and service by Scoobyworld at a cost of £824.89 in November 2013. The last timing belt change evident from the history file was in july 2009 at 34,557 miles.

In respect of MOT history, we have 13 old MOT certificates in addition to the current which runs until January 2021 with no advisories.  Its relatively uncommon these days to find an unmolested Impreza with such low owners and modest mileage so we'd suggest jump on this and look after it  - a proper modern classic.
