Rare and quirky two-cylinder two-stroke Auto-Union commercial; UK registered German-market example; highly collectable; was running in 2014 

This is a particularly rare van. The three-cylinder 3-6 models are almost common by comparison, but this 'twin' is the one you really want!

Our vendor had been actively on the hunt for one these the world over and having purchased the two Goliaths also in the sale today from New Mexico, was quite prepared to buy from far and wide. Much to his amazement, a chance comment in the local pub turned this one up just a mile from home!

When he first got it, he drove it around his family farm, but it has been laid up now for the last five years, in a dry barn but will need some remedial attention before hitting the road once more.

The engine is still free so it shouldn't take Einstein to get it running again and with the current fashion two-strokes, this charming van has much appeal for the true individual.

It comes with a current V5c but no other paperwork.
