2003 Bentley Arnage T
6.75
Twin Turbo palace on wheels; super example showing just 36,378 miles with
diamond stitched interior
Supplied new in September 2003,
this mighty car is finished in Tungsten Grey Mica with black quilted
diamond pattern interior with white stitching. This attractive example has
covered just 36,378 miles which is uncommonly low for an Arnage, given they are
very usable despite their size.
As a T version, it featured a tuned
version of the venerable 6.75 V8 and at the time, was Bentley's most powerful
ever car made developing an impressive 450bhp and intoxicating 875NM of
torque which needs to be experienced to be believed!
This
example features embossed head rests, turned aluminium dash trim, walnut
throughout, sat nav, electric heated memory seats with adjustable lumbar and
dual zone climate control among the many other luxury features expected
from a car costing some £170,000+ when new.
The history file includes the
leather bound owner's pack and service book showing an impressive 11 stamps, the
first 8 all by Harwoods of Pulborough, West Sussex and a further 3 by
Independent Specialists, the last in January 2019 at 34,276 miles at a cost of
£1,909 which included replacement of corroded exhaust clamps and under-sheet
studs. In addition we see a couple of invoices, including in March 2019 a £323
spend on new plugs, diagnostics and MOT, one old MOT and VOSA MOT history
print-out.
The car's MOT expired in March of this year which showed just
one advisory for tyre wear, the car having covered fewer than 2,000 miles
since.
Low mileage Arnage T's are rare beasts - to quote
Clarkson 'like driving around in a Gentlemen’s Club with a rocket up its bum'.
Considering its low miles and what this gloriously British car cost new, it
looks an absolute bargain at the enticing estimate!
