Supplied new in October 2007 by William A. Lewis Volvo main dealer of Shrewsbury to our sole owner, now sadly deceased the car is a testament to him.

Finished in Passion red with contrasting grey cloth interior trim and powered here by the powerful 2.4 litre engine developing 170bhp and 230NM of torque, it drives the front wheels via a 5-speed 'geartronic' automatic transmission from Aisin Warner -  the car is in a desirable form as an 'S 170' variant.

Featuring the innovative 'floating centre console' first seen in the S40 and V50 models we find this example fitted with rear park assist (£350), over mats (FOC) and fire extinguisher as optional extras as detailed on the original order form present in the history file suggesting a purchase price of £17,112 including £1,233 promotional manufacturer discount.

The history file also includes correspondance from the supplying dealer to the buyer, and also receipts for further optional extras including mudflaps at £49.89, interior gaurd upholstery protection at £300, photographs of the car, old tax discs and annual service invoices from the first at 3,253 miles in October 2008 until the last documented in October 2010 at 14,036 miles, all by the Volvo main dealer, Shrewsbury.  In addition, included is the DVLA correspondance regarding the private plate K30 DRC pictured, and included in the sale along with four old MOT certificates and current, valid until October 2021 with no advisories recorded.  The MOT history shows only 12 miles covered between MOTs in 2018 (14,024 miles) -2019 (14,036 miles) and a minimal 112 miles since then as a result of deteriorating health.
