1973 MG Midget MkIII

One of the last and most desirable Midgets which comes with bundles of paperwork spanning from 1973 to the present day; many owners but appears to have always been used; reluctant sale


First dispatched by Stewart and Arden in Croyden to Miss Susan Smith, this MG Midget was initially well maintained, as recorded by the 12 stamps in its little service booklet between 1973 and 1983, steadily taking her to 60,000 miles. In fact, there is almost every MOT ever performed on this car in the file.
Further to this, there are quite a number of other invoices recording general maintenance, including repairs to both wings in 1983, new hood in 1986 and further bodywork attended to in 1988.
Mileage has been added on a regular basis here by all eleven keepers over the years so we think it has probably covered close to 120,000 in total. Not a low mileage few owner car and certainly has a few panels that are a slightly different shade of white to the others, but it runs, drives, stops and has been used and maintained mechanically for much of its life. The last recorded MOT was in 2016, so the advisory issues mentioned which include corrosion to the suspension components may need attending to, but it was driven to our site for the auction -  it will be sorely missed by the young family selling it and is sure to give the next owner some MG joy.
