Description
1971 Rover P6 3.5
Two long term owners from
new and showing just 58,578 miles; engine rebuilt in 2007; MOT April 2022
without advisory
Dating from May 1971 this nice old
P6 features the venerable 3.5 litre V8 engine driving the rear wheels via
traditional automatic transmission and is finished in chocolate brown with beige
leather interior and wood veneer trim.
Showing just 58,578 miles,
believed genuine covered by its two owners from new, the first for 32 years and
the second for the next 18 – lovely. The car appears in unusually sound and
unmolested order retaining its original radio and other features.
The
history file includes a selection of bills including an engine rebuild by K W
Engineering of Holyhead in August 2007 at a cost of £1773 including fitment of
an electric fuel pump, 10 old MOTs, workshop manual and current MOT valid until
April 2022 with no advisories recorded. Looking through the old MOTs its clear
the car has covered little more than a couple of hundred miles in the past ten
years with the car off the road between 2015 and 2021.
Ready to be
enjoyed by a 3rd owner, most unusual for a car of this age and rather
charming.
