Funky pickup with sliding bulkhead to turn into a four seater; factory produced; needs some tlc but a straightforward project

'Two+Two=FUN', 'FUN for TWO - MORE for FOUR' and Fold out for FUN FUN FUN were three slogans used to promote the whacky off-the-wall Felicia Fun Pickup. Perhaps the claim as 'The most fun under the sun' was a trifle exagerated but I am sure you get the message.

Still, it was a novel idea and unique as a concept. Taking a bright yellow Skoda Felica Pickup, the factory designed a sliding rear bulkhead which added two rear seats in the pickup bed when the weather was fair, open to the sky for that Sun Fun feeling.....

Although this example is now looking a little tired, it is all there and has a very good service history - comprising 14 stamps in the Service book, the last in 2018 at 92,000 miles. The timing belt was replaced at 90,000 miles in 2015.

It comes with all its handbooks, service book and brochure, its most recent MOT expired in November 2020 showing an advisory for minor play in a front top strut at 100,000 miles, the odometer now showing 102,172 miles.

Complete with all of its FUN yellow factory fitted adornments, it might be rather grubby inside and will need a little tlc for a fresh MOT, but sharp examples have sold for five figures recently so it certainly makes sense as it stands. Offered at No Reserve, it has lots of potential and even comes fitted with a yellow-coded Truckman hard top - its a useful pickup in its own right....
