2003 BMW 318CI Convertible (E46)
Face-lift
drop-top example with 2.0-litre petrol power and manual 'box showing
just 71,000 miles in lovely order; Remus back box
Supplied new by
Douglas Park BMW in March 2003, this face-lift 318CI Convertible looks a tidy
car, finished in silver with attractive 18inch MVII alloy wheels and M-Sport
bodykit giving more bulbous sills and a more aggressive front bumper with spot
lights. Inside we find contrasting black leather M-Sport spec seats offering
greater support and here, with electric operation and memory facility for the
driver, trip computer, cruise control, sporty aluminium trim, multi-function
steering wheel, BMW Business radio with CD autochanger, traction control,
electric mirrors, windows and automatic elctric roof in black mohair with heated
rear glass screen.
Under the hood, we find the proven 2.0-litre petrol
four-cylinder developing 140bhp, driven through a five-speed manual gearbox
and of course, rear wheel drive. This example has also been retro-fitted with a
REMUS back box of the exhaust which emits a marginally sportier tone, although
the vendor hadn't noticed this feature so it evidently isn't too
intrusive!
Within the history file, we find the V5C showing six previous
owners to the current, owner's pack with service book revealing six stamps
including PDI, the last at 70,113 miles in June 2020 by Dronfield Autocare Ltd
who had also carried out the previous service in 2016 at 56,774 miles, a
couple of invoices for the last two interim services, 3 keys and a
current MOT valid until June 2022 with 3 minor advisories
recorded.
A smart example with sensible miles (71,000), economical engine
with manual box that offers enough performance and desirable M-sport
interior and bodykit with genuine seating ability for four.
