4.0-litre six with LPG;
manual 'box; 75,366 miles; smart condition with meaty tyres; serviced October
2021 and ready for action!
Supplied new by Swain
& Jones of Farnham in November 2001 this rugged looking TJ series Jeep
Wrangler comes to us in desirable Sport spec and is fitted with the powerful 4.0
litre AMC 242 Powertech i6 straight-six engine which develops 174bhp driving all
4-wheels with diff locks, Hi and Lo-range via 5-speed NV-3550 manual
transmission and a (standard) Dana-35 rear axle (a Dana-44 3.73 ratio rear axle
was optional).
The truck looks impressive sitting on its large, chunky
all-terrain Kumho tyres and black Modular wheels which match the black paint
work of the vehicle, black bumper bars, side step bars and twin front spot
lights.
Inside, we find charcoal fabric seats, radio/CD and of course,
the removable soft-top with roll up rear screen for those warm days we’ll no
doubt soon all be missing. The Wrangler looks have been fitted with an LPG
system although there is no documentation relating to its installation or
use.
Within the history file, we find the V5C showing 5-former keepers to
the current Devon based owner of the last 12 months, the owner’s pack and
service book revealing an impressive 11 stamps, the last in October 2021 at
75,049 miles, just c.300 miles ago, the Wrangler currently showing 75,366 miles
plus 9 old MOTs and the current valid until April 2022 with no advisories
recorded. The MOT history suggests the car to have covered less than 4,000 miles
over the last 5 years.
Ready to be enjoyed what ever the weather this
chunky Wrangler oozes street cred and ability come rain, snow or
sun.
