Barn find late model 4.5 V8 SLC thats been sitting for at least the last 15 years; requiring major recommissioning; thought to have had just 2 owners from new

Dating from June 1980 this late model 2+2 C107 series SLC coupe comes to us with the 4.5 V8 engine mated to 4-speed automatic transmission (post 1980) and is finished in green with beige velour interior.

Released from a prolonged period in storage of at least 15 years, this SLC clearly requires considerable recommissioning and restoration both mechanically and cosmetically. We have not attempted to start the car.

Documentation includes only an old style V5 and SORN notification dated 2005. An online search shows the car to have been off the road since at least 2009 when it was last taxed and the last MOT recorded was in 2005 at 103,887 miles with no advisories recorded.

An Experian check shows the last keeper change to have been in 1983, which ties with the V5 on file, thus suggesting the car to have had only 2-owners from new.

An interesting opportunity given the soaring values of the R/C107 series Mercedes with added space and grace compared to its soft top brother.
