A smart Gen 1 example, with critically, the later IMS bearing which solves the bearing failure issue as detailed by the Porsche workshop manual and Porsche Owners Club which suggest later 997.1 cars post engine number 68509791 have the larger revised IMS – this example looks to have the later engine and as such the revised IMS.
