Description
1973 Range Rover Classic Two-Door
No
Reserve
Rover SD1 V8 engine fitted; Lincoln green; last used
regularly in 1997; runs and drives
Offered
here is one of the early rare B-Suffix Range Rovers. Approximately 2,500 were
manufactured in UK RHD spec. It retains many of its original features and is
believed to have been regularly on the road for the first three owners it had
until 1997.
Thought
to have been originally presented in Bahama Gold, it is now a typical Range
Rover green (well, most of it…). After 1997 it passed through another three
hands, which included JLR Classic, although it was mostly just kept in
storage.
More
recently it was purchased by a Land Rover enthusiast who has got it running
(drove 12 miles to the auction), although it still needs significant restoration
to safely put back on the road.
Later
wings have been fitted along with the Rover SD1 replacement engine but it
definitely offers loads of potential and a lot of fun and
is really what a Range Rover should look like!
