5-owner example showing just 32,300 miles in desirable and sporting Avantgarde spec with a recent £1,100 spend on a hood mechanism repair

Undoubtedly an attractive car, particularly with its electric soft-top folded away, the W208 series CLK320 in sporting Avantgarde spec looks the part. Supplied new in September 2003 this late model, face-lift example has had just 4 previous owners to the current.

Finished in desirable Obsidian Black with automatic transmission, full light grey leather and dark grey dash top, the interior features dark wood trim and what looks to be a full options list. This includes Comand sat-nav and multimedia, multi-function steering wheel with cruise control and speed limit function, electric heated memory seats, digital climate control with A/C, electric rear headrests which double as emergency roll over hoops, electric windows/mirrors and roof along with parking sensors. A Bluetooth parrot has also been fitted for convenience.

The 3.2 litre V6 develops c.220bhp, more than enough to ruffle the feathers with the roof lowered and as an Avantgarde spec car, it features factory lowered suspension offering a sportier ride and AMG bodykit with flared sills and more aggressive bumpers along with super 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels.

Its history file includes 3 old MOTs, the owner’s pack with manuals and duplicate service book showing 2 stamps, the last at 26,210 miles in October 2017 and selection of invoices including a recent £1,100 spend in November 2020 on a hood mechanism repair and a new battery. We did notice on moving the car around the driver's seat would not go backwards electrically, but did appear to work in other respects from the seat switches and the LCD displays either side of the odometer have suffered the typical W208 failing and have become pixelated. There is also a crack in the lower front spoiler as indicated in the photos.

This attractive, low mileage example has covered only 32,300 miles with a valid MOT until May 2022 with no advisories recorded.
