1989 Alfa Romeo Spider

Very smart RHD example; recent repaint; new hood; leather upholstery; ready to go

This 1989 Spider was first registered in 1989 and was acquired shortly after by an Ad Agency in London. It has enjoyed a few owners since, most London based it seems.

It is listed as an import, but this is as expected as Spiders were not officially supplied through ARGB at that time, so it would have been a grey import, probably converted by Bell and Colvill to RHD.

There are plenty of invoices for service and maintenance dating from the early noughties - with London specialists Lombarda and Ramponi Rockell. There are 12 old MOTs which suggest the 150,000kms is correct (94,000 miles) - bidders should note that its current ticket, which expires in April 2022 eronously shows 150,000 miles not kilometres.

There are a couple of old V5s and it comes with a new keepers slip and handbook.

Earlier this year, it suffered minor panel damage which involved a comprehensive repaint to the tune of £3,300. As a consequence, it is a smart example which also has had a recent hood and is fitted with black leather upholstery.
