1968 Morris 1000

No Reserve

Only 55,000 miles showing; garaged & little used for the last 15 years or so

First supplied by Victory Garage, Hereford in 1968, this Morris has had only two previous keepers before our vendor. It has been in its current ownership since 2006 and although being regularly put through an MOT, has only been driven about 500/600 miles per year.

The 55,000 miles showing on the clock is believed to be correct and after looking at the bodywork, the interior and the engine bay, we have no real reason to doubt it. The original black paintwork is certainly showing some scratches here and there but no more than any other used car and the interior Cherokee red seating is all in good order.

Within the file, there is a current V5C, most MOT certificates back to 2006 and a handbook, but sadly no details of its early history. This local car last drove into its garage but for some reason had its plug leads removed so has been transported to us…

NVJ 231G will need some light commissioning but would make an ideal starter classic or economical runabout.
