Just two UK owners and 127,193Km recorded (79,000 miles); little use in recent times; lots of potential here

Dating from 1991 this cute Japanese market Kei car is finished in Emerald green, the hue of Spring and one of the four seasonal colours.

Imported in May 2014, this Figaro has had just two owners, the current lady for the last eight of those. It shows 127,193Km equating to c.79,000 miles and looks like it could offer lots of fun potential.  Evidently in need of a really good and through valet, the car looks like its been kept outside with signs of mould to the head lining and some moss to the exterior but there’s plenty of promise underneath.

Running well, performance is surprising from the diminutive 987cc turbocharged engine which gives 75bhp and useful 106Nm of torque driving the front wheels via three-speed automatic transmission with O/D.  Inside, we find cream leather and the usual array of unique Figaro switchgear.  Roll back the vinyl roof for the open air experience with room for two and maybe some smaller children in the back it offers much in the way of retro-thrills.

The history file includes the V5C recording two owners, two old MOTs, bills for an ignition overhaul kit and steering rack pinion seal repair kit both dated 2015 and note from the vendor stating its had new suspension (no date or invoice provided) and confirmation a battery isolator is fitted under the bonnet, installation detail on the Sigma alarm/immobiliser fitted and stereo handbook.

The car does not currently have an MOT, the last test expired in November 2020 recording one advisory for an exhaust leak of gases (although on looking underneath, it does look like the exhaust is quite new and may have been replaced). The MOT history reveals the car has covered only a few thousand Km in the past few years, hence is now offered for sale.
