Smart low-mileage Vogue P38 with a fresh MOT; lots of recent expenditure; LPG conversion; loads of history

This 2001 Vogue 4.6-litre Auto comes to us from its present owner of 16 years. It has had three previous keepers and comes with a full book pack and service book. There is plenty of history on file.

It has covered 97,500 miles over the last 21 years and comes with a fresh ticket which expires in February 2023 showing no advisories. The service book shows three stamps by Sturgess Land Rover to 41,000 miles in 2005. They look to have been the supplying dealer.

Over the last few months, £1,500 has been spent on sorting a couple of annoying faults which developed over lockdown - including a reconditioned BECM computer module £620 and tracing an ABS fault (£320) which turned out to be a cracked wire. It has also had new discs and pads all round, has been fully serviced and the coolant changed. In addition, a full new exhaust has just been fitted.

Finished in smart Java black paintwork, it has light stone 'extended' leather trim with wood accents. There are factory side steps and a factory tow-bar. The vendor also reports tha the heating and ventilation, windows, mirrors, central locking, auto-dip mirrors and seats all function as they should.

He does advise that the rear mounted Sat Nav/CD unit will require repair and that this seems to have affected the screen on the dash.

These alloy engines respond well to LPG conversions thanks to their hard valve inserts. This Vogue is fitted with a LANDINI system which is one of the better conversions, which works well, changing fuels without hesitation. It has a neatly fitted filler and comes with original handbook and certification.

We are told that the air suspension is fully working and it has had new airbags all round in the recent past, as well as a new compressor and a recon valve block - all just a couple of years ago. It is also very clean and tidy underneath as can be seen from the pictures.

It is shod with decent Avon tyres and was driven to the sale. It comes with two keys.

Only of offer because the vendor has acquired a really lovely very low mileage example - (it was still a toss-up as to which one to keep) - this smart example has lots to offer and is being sold with No Reserve so the highest bid on the day buys the car.
