2008 Bentley Arnage T
Late model twin turbo
500bhp Gentleman's club on wheels; comprehensively optioned
example; just 20,369 miles; 12 service stamps - phenomenal bit of
luxury kit
This phenomenal Bentley Arnage T still
looks every bit the £170,000 car it was when delivered new by Bentley Manchester
in March 2008. Finished in Silver Storm (14 6703) without any coach lines, the
car manages to balance looking both imposing and sporting on its 19” five-spoke
two-piece split rim polished ‘Blade’ style alloy wheels with discreet quad
exhausts, yet supremely regal at the same time.
Inside this 20,369 mile example we find a typically extensive spec
with swathes of leather and opulence.
This example, has been specified with the Mulliner pack with even greater
emphasis on luxury and sporting credentials. The main, and secondary interior colour
is Beluga (Black) with matching beluga seat belts, carpets and carpet
edging. The stitching to the
Bentley emblems on the head rests is Portland (cream) as is the main stitching
to the cabin with Mulliner diamond quilting present too.
In addition the spec includes (but is not limited to) Flying-B
mascot for the radiator top, Jewel filler cap, Mulliner wing badges, narrow fuel
filler neck, privacy glass, quad exhaust tips, sunroof, twin head lamps, piano
black interior trim, aluminium inserts to facia and waist rails, electrically
adjustable heated front and rear seats, 4-position front seat memory, ISO fix
rear seat, Diamond quilted door trim, drilled aluminium pedals, indented rear
quarter cushions, single colour steering wheel (Beluga).
The spec goes on to further include, touch screen flip up
navigation, Bluetooth, CD changer, cruise control, headlight wash, adjustable
power lumbar for front seats, adjustable steering column with memory, voice
control, tyre pressure monitoring, ultrasonic parking sensors, Starter-button,
Mulliner tread plates and body coloured head lamp bezels.
Under the bonnet, we find the 6.8-litre twin-turbo V8 which
develops a whopping 500bhp driving the rear wheels via six-speed automatic
transmission with Sport mode giving frankly outrageous performance. To help this huge car handle we find
Sport suspension and huge 348mm front brakes along with a huge 96 litre fuel
tank.
The history file for this example
includes the V5C recording three previous owners to the current of two years,
the owner’s manual with service section revealing an impressive 12 stamps
including PDI (in August 2007, suggesting it to be a 2007 car, not registered
until March 2008) with all but the last 3 stamps by supplying dealer Bentley of
Manchester. The last 3 stamped services have all been carried out by Hanwells of
London, renowned Bentley specialists, the last of which is dated May 2021 at
19,201 miles. The current MOT is valid until June 2022 recording no
advisories.
Ready to be enjoyed, these late
model Arnage T’s really are quite the car with enormous torque, presence and
opulence.
