Go any-where Limited spec 4.7-litre V8 automatic WJ
series; showing just 75,000 miles by its three owners
Supplied new by Garage De Pauw of Vilvoorde, Holland in April 2000
to its first owner, a Company based in Wilmslow, Cheshire this RHD Euro-spec
Jeep Grand Cherokee comes to us in desirable Limited spec, the highest and most
luxurious spec at the time.
Finished in blue
and sitting on its original 18” multi-spoke alloy wheels, these WJ series Grand
Cherokee’s still look good. Under
the bonnet, we find the powerful 4.7-litre Power-Tech V8 engine, which develops
235bhp and 400NM of torque driving all-four wheels via Chrysler’s new four-speed
45RFE automatic transmission.
As a Limited spec
model, we find body coloured side mouldings and front and rear bumpers, dual
motor electric leather seats, heated front seats, 6-speaker premium 180-watt
Infinity Gold sound system, leather multi-function steering wheel, wood effect
interior trim, electric glass sunroof, memory seats, climate control with A/C,
trip computer with compass, electric windows, mirrors and boot mounted CD
changer.
This example comes from local lady
ownership and shows just 75,804 miles – a walk in the park for these big lazy
V8’s. The history file includes the V5C revealing just two former keepers, the
owner’s pack & service book recording six stamps, the last by Unipart
Bromsgrove in April 2009 at 38,200 miles and current MOT valid until December
2022 with no advisories recorded.
Bidders
please note, the V5C incorrectly shows the vehicle as a Laredo spec, instead of
Limited. The vehicle is a Limited spec, with the 4.7 litre Power-tech V8 (as can
be seen under the bonnet and by the Jeep badges on the vehicle, and as stated by
the supplying dealer in the service book) – plus, the Laredo spec (base spec)
was only available on the 4.0 six-cylinder variant.
Bidders please also note, we noted on moving the vehicle around
there is a clicking/juddering feel/sound coming from what felt/sounded like
the o/s/r wheel on tight turning, and the passenger front window did not
appear to function, but did click on attempted
operation.
Bar that, a tidy, lower mileage
example with low owners and the ideal engine choice if you fancy something with
some go, excellent on-and-off-road capability combined with luxurious comfort
and mega towing ability.
