What you see is what you get with this lot - there is no
engine or gearbox, but there is a propshaft and rear axle. The chassis is sound
and it has the bulk of the steering and suspension system including the original
steering wheel and Prancing Horse horn centre. A set of correct Borrani wheels
are also fitted.
The chassis was imported correctly from France in
1987 when it came into the hands of Stephen Griswold. Our vendor acquired it
from Rodney Felton in 1991 to produce a Ferrari 'Tribute', but
sadly the project never came to fruition.
The paperwork consists of
the customs 386 form, original French bill of sale and French documentation
showing registration details from 1970/71.
The chassis also comes with
the original chassis plate marked 250GTE 4227
