2003 Ford StreetKa Luxury
Top spec lady-owned
example with heated leather seats and AC with brand new clean MOT - ideal
for summer fun
Dating from November 2003 this
groovy StreetKa was launched alongside the Ford Ka’s ‘evil twin’ as it was
dubbed, the SportKa – both versions featuring a more powerful 1.6 litre 94bhp
8-valve Duratec four-cylinder engine driving the front wheels via five-speed
manual transmission.
Launched with the help of
Kylie Minogue in Paris in 2003 the StreetKa was a hit, with its groovy design
and optional detachable hard-top it offered lots of fun with good economy and
performance.
This pretty blue example comes to us from a deceased estate and is
in desirable ‘Luxury’ spec and includes heated black leather seats, matching
leather door cards, manual soft-top, air conditioning, radio/CD player, polished
gear knob, electric heated mirrors, remote central locking, power steering and
ABS.
The car shows 90,330 miles and largely presents well bar a few car
park/door dings to the doors and some minor kerbing to the wheels. Starting promptly the car moved around
with ease as we took these images and video, a doddle to manoeuvre given its
dinky proportions and eager motor.
The history
file includes the V5C, owner’s pack with manuals, three old MOTs, VOSA MOT
history, spare key and few bills for work including minor recent MOT repairs
(bulbs and new NSF lower arm), new discs, pads, weld repair and underside wax
oil in April-21 and current, new MOT valid until June-2023 with no advisories
recorded.
On offer at No Reserve, these
StreetKa’s offer lots of fun and style for little outlay and are a great option
to an MGF, or MX5 with typically well-honed Ford dynamics.
Buyers please
note, the vendor has the desirable body-coloured hard-top available by seperate
negotiation should the winning bidder be interested.
