Dating from August 1992, this attractive Volkswagen Corrado comes to us in dark blue and sits upon a set of after-market 17” 16-spoke alloy wheels that really set the car off visually.

Under the bonnet, we find the proven 2.0-litre 16-valve four-cylinder petrol engine developing 134bhp and 180NM of torque driving the front wheels via five-speed manual transmission – enough for the dash to 60mph in a respectable (for the era) 9.3 seconds.

Inside the cosy 2+2 cabin we find a light grey cloth interior with matching grey dash, carpets and door cards in addition to electric front windows, electric sunroof, trip computer (MFA), heated rear screen, electric mirrors, central locking and Panasonic radio/Cassette player.
