Description
2001 BMW Z3 Roadster
Pretty 2.2-litre
face-lift widebody example with manual 'box, M-Sport bits and electric hood
showing just 62,768 miles
Dating from January
2001, this wide-body facelift Z3 is finished in desirable Topaz Blue, with
matching dark blue Mohair soft-top and sits on its original five-spoke 16” alloy
wheels.
Under the distinctive bonnet, we
find the 2.2-litre M54B22 six-cylinder petrol engine which develops 168bhp and
210NM of torque driving the rear wheels via five-speed Getrag 250 manual
transmission which is a joy to use and permits full use of the creamy torque on
offer from the M54 engine.
The interior is
trimmed with matching blue leather upholstery with typical electric seat base
operation and manual rake, electric windows, electric mirrors, remote central
locking, blue dash trim, power steering, Pioneer radio/CD player, traction
control, electric soft-top and M-Sport branded steering wheel and gear
knob.
The car shows just 62,768 miles and
presents well, although it would no doubt benefit from a proper valet having
come to us out of three year storage.
The
history file includes just the owner’s pack, V5C revealing just three former
keepers to our current of nine years and the MOT valid until February 2023
recording just one advisory for cracking/perishing of both rear tyres. The MOT history also confirms the car to
have covered just 730 miles since the last MOT in 2019.
