2007 Jaguar XK 4.2 Convertible
(X150)
Only 29,000 miles from new with four
services to date, the last only 1,000 miles ago; personalised number plate; very
clean and tidy throughout
Styled by Ian
Callum, the X150 version of the Jaguar XK came out in 2005 as a Coupe, the
Convertible being added in 2006. Made entirely of aluminium, it was powered by a
4.2 V8 mated to six-speed automatic transmission with sport mode and paddle
shift for faster gear changes when required. Producing 296bhp and 310lb/ft it
could sprint to 60mph in 5.4 seconds with a top speed limited to 155mph.
Supplied new by Jaguar Cars Ltd of Browns
Lane, Coventry, in April 2007, this XK 4.2 Convertible has covered 29,056 miles
from new with a good service history comprising four stamps in the book,
the last at 28,099 miles in May 2021 when the front brake pads were also renewed
and the air con was regassed.
Finished in
silver with a cream hide interior and a brown soft top, it looks extremely clean
and tidy with the electric hood functioning as it should. It is packed full of
all the usual XK luxuries including keyless entry, push button start, parking
sensors, heated seats and steering wheel, touch-screen information displays and
satnav, adaptive cruise control etc.
Supplied
with all its original handbooks and a personalised number plate, it has an MOT
until July 2023 with no advisories recorded. This sleek drop top would
have cost over £62,000 new and looks great value at the guide price
suggested.
Featured in a comparison Road test in August 2022 against a
996 generation of 911 cabriolet this lovely Jag proved a worthwhile
contender, ultimately taking the crown.
