No Reserve
Tidy example from 11 year
ownership; recent replacement rear air suspension bags, EAS block and new front
brake calipers
Supplied new by Hillendale Land
Rover of Nelson, Lancashire in January 1999, this tidy and appealing P38
generation of Range Rover comes to us in 4.0 SE spec and is finished in what we
believe to be Rioja Red and sits on attractive 18” Triple Sport alloy wheels
with useful side steps and tow bar.
Under the
bonnet, we find the popular 4.0 Rover V8 engine (GEMS/Lucas) which developed
190Bhp and 320NM of torque driving all-four wheels via the traditional H-gate
automatic ‘box.
Inside, we find acres of cream
leather piped black with electric adjustment inc. lumbar, walnut trim, electric
windows, electric sunroof, electric mirrors, air suspension, trip computer,
digital climate control with AC, cruise control, front arm rests, cup holder and
original radio/cassette player.
This Range
Rover shows just 94,155 miles and presents well, starting promptly, looking
smart for its age/miles and was driven to the sale.
The history file includes the V5C revealing just three former
keepers to the current of 11 years, the owner’s manual and service book
recording nine stamps, the last in 2003 at 80,275 miles plus another for safety
recall A219 in 2001. We also note a
few invoices for parts for a replacement air compressor pump unit, two new rear
air suspension bags along with fitment of these and new front brake callipers
and pads in February 2023.
The car comes with a
recent MOT valid until February 2024 recording just two minor advisories for a
seat belt buckle and 3rd brake light. Ready to be enjoyed and on offer at No
Reserve these P38 Range Rovers have much to offer in terms of quality, space,
style and ability.
