Description
Delightful van ready for work or play; four-speed box; recent engine
overhaul
Everyone loves an Austin 7 and the van version is
perhaps the most appealing of all. We have had it parked in the office - an
Austin is so handy it will fit anywhere, and everyone smiles when they walk
through the door.
The car is in lovely order and had lots of work done in
2019 which inlcuded paintwork, an engine rebuilt with new piston rings and the
fitment of a four speed gearbox which adds a bit of practicality ( and some
synchromesh!).
Fitted with good Avon tyres, nicely prepared closed-centre
wheels and an early coil engine, the V5 and chassis number date from 1930,
making it genuinly Vintage. It has been running and driving around the site and
comes with a handbook and Pitman service book.
There are bills on file
and it has been fitted with a faux key on the roof which explains the metal post
mounted on top. The vendor has included a nice picnic hamper in the back, aside
which there isn't much to add as it is just as sweet and lovely as it looks in
the pictures.
If you run a small business, are in to Commercials or need
an Austin 7 Van to complete the set, this one is well worth close
inspection.
