Pretty UK supplied four owner LHD Barchetta with leather interior showing just 52,910 miles from local, long term owner

Supplied new by Follett of Mayfair Fiat Centre in October 1997 this LHD Barchetta is a UK spec example finished in grey with black hood and sits on its original 15” steel wheels.

Under the bonnet, we find the 1747cc four-cylinder ‘Fiat Family’ B-series four-cylinder petrol engine which develops 129bhp and 164NM of torque driving the front wheels via five-speed manual transmission, offering enough performance to keep things exciting and enviable driving dynamics making it a worthy opponent to the MX5.

Inside, we find black leather, electric windows, front fog lights, manually operated roof and a Kenwood radio.

This earlier Barchetta shows just 52,910 miles and has spent much of its recent life under a car cover in Ledbury where its resided with its owner since July 2015 – as a result, there is scope to improve the car cosmetically (see images) and clean, feed and re-colour the leather seats too.  That aside, it started promptly and was driven to the sale.

The history file includes the V5C showing just three former keepers, the owner’s pack and service book recording five stamps inc. PDI, the last in 2006 at 20,393 miles by a Fiat agent in Vallauris, France.

In addition, we also find the current MOT, valid until March 2024 recording two minor advisories, a selection of bills for parts and maintenance including some from France (2007/08 dating back to 2001) and timing belt/water pump renewal in 2015 at 48,666 miles, service in 2017 at 50,028 miles and original PDI inspection from 1997.

With much to offer with low miles and low owners there’s scope to use and improve this little Barchetta and enjoy the rest of the summer in it with a few jobs on the cards for the winter.
