Description
Newly upholstered
interior; beautifully simple; use and improve
First registered in May
1962, this Morris Minor is powered by the 998cc variant of the BMC-A series
engine producing 48-bhp. Praised for its simplicity, the Morris Minor is an
excellent way into classic car ownership, full of character and a great load of
fun to drive, even the mechanically challenged should be able to service and
maintain this car making it an affordable option for the classic car enthusiast.
This car has had a newly upholstered interior, leaving a clean
and comfortable feel on the inside. Although the paint looks presentable from a
distance, the finish is not the best up close. In a “use and improve” state this
could be an ideal winter project or a great car to enjoy from the off.
Purchased by the vendor eight months ago, he hasn't had the time to enjoy
the car as he wished, so has decided to part ways.
According to GOV.uk there
are four MOTs on record, dating from 2008,2010,2016 and 2020. Passing its most
recent MOT in 2020 with advisories for “age related corrosion on underside” and
“perished tyres”.
Driving well on site,
this looks to be a good bit of fun either as a project or on the
road.
