Recent
extensive restoration; looking lovely, ready for the
spring
This pretty Morris Minor two-door
first hit the streets in June 1967 and would make an excellent step into the
world of classic car ownership.
Looking rather
lovely in our showroom, this Minor comes to us about a year or so after an
extensive restoration which saw a bare metal respray and judging by the 'before'
photos, lots and lots of new bits. Unfortunately there are no invoices for any
parts, labour or specific jobs carried out, however we are told the restoration
was undertaken by NJ Restorations of Carmarthenshire where you can find the
full restoration process still showing on their website.
Finished in its original green, it presents exactly how you would
imagine a car fresh from a restoration would look. The interior is very
smart, with seats upholstered in green vinyl along with the door cards,
showing only minor signs of wear. The dash looks to have been refinished
and is very smart and there appear to be new green carpets which
compliment the interior very nicely.
Obviously
tax and MOT exempt, if we look back through the MOT history, we can see it
received an MOT each year from 2015 up until 2021, the latest having expired in
July 2022 and only having one advisory for slight play in a wheel
bearing.
This looks to be a well-restored car
with lots of recent expenditure, which has been starting promptly and driving
well on site.
