Description
From a deceased estate; rare 350hp manual Convertible; on display at
the Classic Car Show 2019; in very nice order; optional leather
seats
Dating from 1966, this C2 Sting Ray has a 350hp (5.7-litre) V8
matched to a rare four-speed manual box. The interior is in black leather and
the paintwork is stunning in light yellow - the car really is an
eyeful.
Imported from the Florida in 2015 from Just Toys Classic Cars, it
is all up together and has been properly registered in the UK, the V5C recording
one previous owner since it arrived on these shores.
There isn't a lot of
paperwork wtih the car, probably because it hasn't wanted for much, although
there is an invoice for a thorough service in April 2016 with new points, plugs,
condenser, oil and filter, air filter, recon brake caliper etc. The
condition of the bodywork is very good, with little or no sign
of degradation to the fibreglass and the interior is a particularly nice
place to be.
We are told that it was displayed at the Classic Car Show
in 2019. A couple of old MOTs show that it has only covered around 1,500 miles
since arriving in the UK, the odometer currently showing 85,240 miles.
On
offer from a deceased estate, there is everything to like about this car, so if
a Sting Ray is on your radar, this one is well worth serious
consideration.
