Lot Ended
Description
Interesting J-Series Interceptor; stalled restoration that looks
largely complete; lots of bits in the boot; looks a solid enough example ripe
for completion; running recently
Dating from 1973,
this later J-Series Interceptor MkIII is 1 of just 735 J-series RHD (VIN prefix
‘136’) cars built and comes to us as an unfinished
restoration.
We are told the car has been running
in the last few weeks ahead of the sale and is believed to be largely complete
bar the front windscreen and both bumpers, with a selection of parts in the boot
(as pictured).
There is no history file for the
car (it has unfortunately been lost by the vendor) but it does have keys. The registration number shown, DDL
105L, is still associated with chassis number 136/8309 on
the DVLA system (recording 5 former keepers) and should be able to be
reclaimed by corresponding with them and by using the services
of the helpful people at the Jensen Owners Club, or by contacting Martin
Robey who hold the records for Jensen and can issue a Heritage
Certificate.
