Description
2005 Maserati GranSport
Four owner and rarer
high performance 395bhp GranSport variant of the popular 4200 Coupe from a
deceased estate showing 76,024 miles
Supplied new in March 2005 by
Maranello Cars of Egham, Surrey to its lucky first owner, this was quite the car
then, and is rare to see and as such still commands a premium over its standard
4200 sibling with more power, improved aerodynamics, upgraded suspension,
sportier interior and revised gearbox software for faster
changes.
Finished in Blu Mediterraneo, one of only 7 shades available for
the GranSport with figure hugging leather and Metal blue 'Technical cloth'
Sports seats and interior trim with spots of carbon fibre here and there.
It also features of course the F1 paddle sequential transmission with Sport and
Auto modes.
Our vendor, now sadly deceased was the 4th owner of this
super-coupe enjoying his steer for the past 7 years and c.30,000 miles of
use. The car has covered 76,024 miles and comes with its service book
showing 12 stamps, all by main dealers or by Migliore Cars Ltd (Independant
Ferrari and Maserati Specialists) , the last in August 2019 at 74,546 miles
which is reassuring. A new battery has also just been fitted following its
period in storage following the vendors demise.
The private plate, 'W2
MAS' is included with this lot, handy given its a MASerati...! We also
find the current V5C, old V5, invoice and book pack in addition to
aforementioned service book within the history file. The MOT expired in August
2020 which was issued with no advisories (as with the preceeding 5 clean MOTs)
at 74,546 miles.
The car also features its tool kit in the boot although
we have noticed the battery cover on the rhs of the boot is missing.
Presenting well, looking the part and running as it should when we moved it
round for these shots it looks and sounds every bit the special edition it is.
We all rather like it.
