Description
1999 BMW Z3 Roadster 2.8
Meaty 2.8
six-cylinder model with manual 'box, M-Sport trim, burgundy leather, A/C,
electric roof and just 65,000 miles
Supplied new in February 1999
in Belgium by Autohandel to it slucky first owner the car presents well,
finished in Arctic Silver with contrasting burgundy leather, electric black
mohair hood and chunky 5-spoke sporty alloy wheels. A well optioned
example, we see half electric heated leather seats, M-Sport gearknob and
steering wheel, CD player, 5-speed manual transmission, front fog lights, Air
Con and tonneau cover.
In our vendor's hands for the last three years the
car has seen limited summer use only and shows just over 65,000 miles
- uncommonly low for a pre-face-lift, widebody Z3 of this era. The car
felt very muscular at the time out or visit performing with aplomb accompanied
by a great, and typically BMW six-pot roar.
The car's history file
includes the V5C, old V5, owner's manual, radio manual, service book with 5
stamps (the lasts tamp at 60,009 miles in Sept-15) and a host of invoices and
old MOTs dating back to its first in 2002. The current MOT expires in November
2021 with no advisories recorded and shows less than 1,500 miles covered in the
last 12 months.
Invoices on file include a replacement lower wishbone
bush in march 2020, a replacement vaccum actuator door lock in 2016 at a cost of
£442.69, replacement electric roof micro switch in 2015 for £306 in addition to
invoices for routine servicing dating back to year 2000.
Good low mileage
Z3's are an appreciating modern classic and the six-pot examples even more so
with extra grunt and poise. we love them here.
