Tidy, later model 1.8 litre 5-speed manual 190 showing just 101,315 miles; a very usable Modern Classic Merc

Dating from January 1992 this later model W201 series of 190 is finished in red with grey sports checker interior and is powered by the fuel injected (the ‘E’ in 190E) 1,797cc four-cylinder 8v engine which develops 108bhp, mated here to 5-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. Options fitted to this example include electric front windows, electric sunroof, wood trim around the gear selector, front fog lamps, electric passenger mirror and rear boot spoiler. We also see a modern CD player has been fitted along with a set of more modern Mercedes branded 7-spoke alloy wheels. Showing 101,315 miles the car presents well bar a few small areas that require cosmetic attention as pictured. The W201 models were built very well, and that so many survive with many having covered galactic mileage is a testament to their quality and on that basis, at just 101k this one is likely barely run in!
