2006 Toyota MR2 Roadster VVTi

Lots of fun to be had in this peppy late model Roadster showing just 79,366 miles, mid-engined with 138bhp on tap

Supplied new by Walon Ltd Toyota in March 2006 this late model W30 generation MR2 (1999 - 2006) comes from the last year of sale. Powered by a mid-mounted 1.8 VVTi engine putting out 138bhp and driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission - the result is pokey performance from this lightweight (996kg) roadster.

Our vendor has enjoyed the car for the last three years, covering c.4,000 miles, the car currently showing a modest 79,365 miles.  Looking sharp in its silver paint work, sitting on the original five-spoke alloy wheels with contrasting black vinyl hood it looks like it would be a hoot to drive even standing still.  Inside, we find a two-tone interior with Alcantara style centre sections with black leather outer and red accents and we find a JDM style infotainment system is fitted here too. The hood operates manually and is the simple work of a moment to raise or lower. 

Within the history file, we find the V5C showing six previous owners, an owner's pack with service book revealing 7 stamps, the last at 75,407 miles in April 2018 by Honda main dealer, Vantage of Bradford from where our vendor purchased the car at this time. In addition we have the current MOT valid until August 2021 with no advisories recorded. A note on file from the vendor suggests the car recieved two lube services using Toyota oil in both 2019 and 2020 with a gearbox oil change also recorded in 2019 alongside other routine works although there are no invoices to support this.

Ready to be used and enjoyed immediately, these later MR2's offer lots of fun and practicality. With previous generations of MR2 now climbing steadily in value, these W30 versions seem super value for money.
