1999 BMW Z3 2.0-litre

Facelift six-cylinder Z3 with just 36,400 miles; four main dealer stamps plus four service invoices; excellent hood; an unusually sharp example

Z3s come in various shapes and sizes, and this 1999 model comes from the post-facelift era with its subtle styling updates and a wider rear track.

Fitted with the 148bhp silky-smooth BMW six-cylinder two-litre M52 engine, this example has been in the hands of the vendor since 2010 and has still only covered 36,400 miles from new.

The service book shows that it was PDi'd by Taylors of Boston, Lincs in September 1999 and displays four service stamps to 2011, by which time it had covered 18,516 miles. The last two were undertaken by Riddings Garage, in Pelsall, who also saw the car a further four times in 2014,2015,2017 and 2018 (at 34,351 miles) according to more invoices on file, the mileage gradually increasing to the 36,400 miles now showing.

The car carries a no advisory MOT which expires in August 2022 and looks very good value at the catalogue estimate. Prices on Z3s have hardened of late, buyers appreciating their blend of distinctive styling and fine engines.
