2001 BMW 728i Sport (E38)

Reserve
Late model five speed auto facelift E38
showing 132,000 miles; originally retailed by BMW Eastern Motor Company
Ltd; only five previous keepers
First
registered in 2001, this 7-series was first serviced by its initial suppliers,
BMW Eastern Motor Company and appears to have been owned in the Milton Keynes
area before moving to London. The service booklet on file shows evidence of ten
services over the years, the majority by Fleet Services CMC Ltd in Crawley and
the last done at 92,800 miles in 2011.
There
are three further invoices on file showing further servicing until 2016 when the
car showed 118,000 miles. Online MOT records show it still being on the road
until c.2019 at 128,000 miles but advisories were starting to mount up, so we
would recommend you consult the MOT history online to check what needs to be
done. Main things that need attending to is wear and tear to the suspension
components.
Offered
here with no reserve, it seems a great opportunity to acquire one of these
popular E38 models. Equipped with leather interior with memory seats, which
generally is in good order apart from obvious wear from the driver. There are
also rear screens to the headrests and the car sits on M – Parallel wheels.
Cosmetically the bodywork could do with some attention too, especially the
front and rear bumpers (see images).
Basically,
it could do with a proper tidy up, but is definitely worth spending some
money on and enjoying over the next few years.
Note that at the time of
writing, we only hold a photocopy of the V5C so a new one may need applying for
by the purchaser.
