2002 Ford Puma 1.7 16v

Reserve
Noughties coupe fun here in late model 1.7
guise showing just 59,734 miles by its four owners; tidy unmolested
example
Supplied new by Allen Ford of Warwick in
March 2002 this late model Puma features the potent 1.7 litre VCT Sigma 16v
engine developing a heady 123bhp (which feels much more than it sounds).
The front wheel drive and 5-speed manual transmission make for Ford’s
typically superb dynamics providing plenty of smiles per mile.
Finished
in striking Colorado Red and riding on its original 9-spoke 15inch alloy wheels
with contrasting charcoal cloth interior trim along with air conditioning
(Luxury pack 6006), electric windows, mudflaps and after-market Sony CD
player with USB and Aux ports. The car carries its 19 years well, such was the
forward- thinking design of Ford’s ‘New Edge’ design philosophy in the late 90s
which included the then radical Ka supermini model.
Showing just
59,734 miles, this tidy little coupe has covered low mileage for its age and is
supported by an excellent history file which includes the V5C showing just
3-owners to our current owner/vendor, who drove the car to us from Warwick.
Furthermore, we find 2 old style V5's, the owner’s pack and service book
revealing an impressive 14 stamps, the last in May 2017 at 55,129 miles along
with a host of routine maintenance invoices and 15 old MOT certificated in
addition to the current, valid until February 2022 with no advisories
noted.
In addition to the above, the box file also includes an assorted
selection of period Puma brochures, magazines, original bill of
sale (£11,558) and old tax discs. Ready to be enjoyed, this low mileage
example is offered here at No Reserve and given their recent rise in
value, now is the time to buy before they get out of reach as an affordable
and most excellent Modern Classic Retro Fast Ford.
