1982 Volkswagen T3 Camper

Budget camper with potential; time to holiday at home

This Autohomes 4-speed manual camper was first registered in July 1982 and although no specific local history is known, appears to have been used on a regular basis, having now just tipped over the 100,000 mile mark.  
Plenty of headroom in the back provides a good space to shelter from the rain using the fitted kitchen facilities. The folding seat/double bed offers the resident comfy sleeping quarters too, along with fitted Saab seats to the front.  
Sporting 15in Empi spoked Speedwell wheels, a roof suitably dressed for being parked up near the chequered flag and rear spotlights, this looks ideal for those UK holidays that we all starting to get used to these days! A handy external hook up and tow bar are also fitted.  
Last passing through an MOT in October 2020, it will need a fresh one after the auction and it did have a few wear and tear advisories that may need attending to, although there was no comment on any serious matters so hopefully it will not take too much to get back on the road.  
Having had a fair share of owners over the years, clocking up a few miles and showing signs of work, this camper is certainly not perfect but the estimate reflects this and could definitely serve as a holiday road trip option soon.
