Description
Sweet-running two-seater with dickie; major service in 2015; a very
usable car
Manufactured in 1937, we think that this Morris 8
started life as a saloon. The V5C shows that it was UK registered in 1997 which
would have been when it was put back on the road following a
restoration.
We have been driving it around onsite and the engine is
notably sweet running and the brakes (hydraulic of course) pull the car up
nicely.
It was purchased by the vendor for his daughter to enjoy, which
she has, but has moved onto other things hence its inclusion in the
sale.
For someone looking for a foray into the world of Pre-War motoring,
a Morris 8 takes a lot of beating, maintaing a steady 45-50mph and with stopping
power to match. This well-presented example is ready to go.
