Description
Interesting Vauxhall/Marina based kit car with scope for use in Hill
Climb/sprint events - proper wind in the hair motoring!
Built up to
resemble Jack “Tatty” Turner’s Sport car of 1979 racing fame, the car is built
up using a selection of parts.
Registered as a Vauxhall on a
1978 plate we gather the car is both tax and MOT exempt and boasts a Morris
Marina 1700cc four-cylinder engine and manual transmission with a pair of seats
from an Audi TT/A3 minus the head rests.
Starting on the button, quite
literally, as no keys are needed, the car roared into life and felt surprisingly
pokey and nimble as we moved it around for these
images.
Sure to stand out and could
offer the new owner some proper potential for use on hill climb/sprint work with
some basic FIA mods it could be quite the lightweight weapon.
