1996 Mini Sprite

A very smart example of the Classic Mini; 1,275cc engine; 22,500 miles showing; clean MOT October 2021

This smart little Mini Sprite shows four keepers in total on the V5C, the last since 2000. On offer from a deceased estate, it's lady owner acquired the car with 17,518 miles on the clock from Derrington Motors in October of that year.

The online MOT history dates back to 2005, by which time it was showing 18,896 miles, with tiny totals being added each year so we conclude that the indicated 22,500 miles is indeed correct.

The service book shows four stamps, the first through H Sykes in Barnsley at 3,386 miles. James Edwards in Chester (Rover Approved) saw the car again in 1996 at 5,784 miles and Hartwell Charles Clark in Wolverhampton again in 1997 at 12,367 miles. It comes with its handbook too and current MOT which expires in October 2021 and shows no advisories.

Finished in attractive blue with a clean and tidy interior, there appears to have been some paintwork attention on the passenger door, otherwise the little Mini looks very original indeed.

Fitted with the zippy fuel-injected 1,275 A-Series engine, its Spritely badge certainly fits its performance. Overall this is a very lightly used Mini which was driven some 40 miles to the sale and is ready to use.
